We are fortunate to have a wealth of Material Culture resources available at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. In partnership with the Wisconsin Historical Society, the Material Culture Program and the Chipstone Foundation, Emily Pfotenhauer, a 2006 graduate of the UW-Madison Material Culture Program, has spent a year creating a state-wide on-line database of significant decorative arts objects in museums and historic sites across Wisconsin.

Another wonderful database is our own Kohler Art Library's Digital Library for the Decorative Arts and Material Culture.
